Chief Innovation Officer
In 2004, Rich co-founded Hospitality 101, Inc. ( DBA, CaterTrax) with his brother-in-law Dan. After earning his degree from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University, Rich had returned home to join the family restaurant and catering business. He quickly realized the logistics of a busy catering operation were overwhelming without proper organization, and recognized an opportunity to create a tool that could improve the lives of caterers. That tool became the TRAX Platform. Rich led the company from a start-up to a rapidly expanding organization, now known as CaterTrax Inc., which was acquired by Volaris Group in 2017. Rich is now the Chief Innovation Officer for CaterTrax Inc. and oversees our Product Innovation team and is the driving force behind the innovation, research, and development of the TRAX Platform suite of solutions.
