CaterTrax Gets Involved for National Volunteer Week 2019
CaterTrax Volunteers, Serves Dinner at Ronald McDonald House Rochester
When a child requires extended medical care, family members need to focus on nothing other than helping them get better. Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a “home away from home” for these families so they don’t have to worry about lodging, transportation to and from the medical center where a child is being cared for, and meals. Their facilities provide not only a comfortable place to sleep, but also offer amenities like kitchens, laundry machines, gardens, and play areas for children to make life just a little bit easier while concentrating on a sick or injured child.
A team of CaterTrax employees recently volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House to make a delicious, homemade dinner for families staying there and served up lasagna, salads, and companionship. Volunteering at the local, Rochester facility was so enjoyable we’ve already scheduled another date to cook a meal for families in June!
